Story

Get to Know Us

The Linden Home - A dynamic organization that builds relationships and advocates for unhoused women who need assistance with things such as, getting to appointments, obtaining food, and finding safe, and clean shelter. The goal of the Linden Home is to be a fully functioning home for previously incarcerated women to live and learn life skills.

The mission of the Linden Home is to empower the lives of formerly incarcerated women, through access to housing, advocacy, leadership, entrepreneurship, and mentorship. The Vision is to take an integrated approach to transforming the lives of marginalized individuals challenged by systemic obstacles. We ignite their personal purpose and life passions by enriching the mind, body, and spirit.

These needs were seen throughout the years of our founder, Cia Mislang’s journey as she experienced numerous encounters with homelessness and incarceration.

She has since been able to transition and thrive in her current life experiences. She was able to accomplish this by practicing fundamentals in fiscal management. She lives to lead by example and demonstrate love and acceptance. Therefore, Cia’s motivation is to continue the cycle of positive change in her community. The Linden Home vision was born from the heart of Cia.
